Profile

Richard Nielsen works as a participatory action researcher, educator, and consultant in the areas of ethics intervention and corruption reform methods. He was elected to the Board of Directors and will be serving as President and Program Chair of the Society For Business Ethics. He is currently serving as Senior Editor for Ethics and Social Responsibility related articles of Organization Studies, the journal of the European Group for Organizational Studies.

Richard Nielsens publications includeThe Politics of Ethics: Methods for Acting, Learning, and Sometimes Fighting With Others in Addressing Problems in Organizational Life (The Ruffin Series in Business Ethics). In addition, he has published more than 75 articles in journals such asAcademy of Management Review,泭Academy of Management Executive,泭Business Ethics Quarterly,泭Business Ethics: A European Review, Business and Society,泭Journal of Business Ethics,泭Journal of Management Inquiry,泭Organization Studies,泭硃紳餃泭Strategic Management Journal.

He has consulted and done executive training work in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America with many organizations such as the American Friends Service Committee, the Athens Laboratory of Business Administration, Bank of Norway Investment Management Fund, Carrefour, Citigroup, Eurobank, the European Union, IBM, New York City, NovoNordisk, the Peace Research Institute of Oslo, the United Nations, the U.S. Office of Education, and the WGBH Educational Foundation.
