Postdoctoral Association

The Boston College Postdoctoral Association (³Ô¹ÏÍøPDA) promotes the professional, social, and family well-being of postdoctoral fellows from all ³Ô¹ÏÍø departments. The purpose of the ³Ô¹ÏÍøPDA is:

To promote the professional training and career preparation of its members

To promote peer interactions and support among the ³Ô¹ÏÍø postdoctoral community

To serve as liaison between its members and the administration of ³Ô¹ÏÍø

To introduce new postdoctoral fellows to the ³Ô¹ÏÍø community

To provide liaison between ³Ô¹ÏÍø postdoctoral fellows and other postdoctoral associations in Massachusetts and in the United States

The ³Ô¹ÏÍøPDA regularly organizes conferences and talks on topics of interest to its membership. In addition, the ³Ô¹ÏÍøPDA has an ongoing Knowledge Dissemination Program to financially support the dissemination of its members’ original and independent scholarly work.
