Fall Open House
Take a breather before the final stretch of the semester and connect with colleagues from across campus at the CTE鈥檚 Fall Open House!
All faculty and staff are invited to join us for a wine and beer reception in our newly refreshed space in O鈥橬eill 250 on Thursday, November 13 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm. Relax in the CTE鈥檚 expanded lounge, check out our hybrid-friendly meeting spaces, and tour the two new classrooms next door.

As you鈥檙e planning for your attendance, we wanted to share some information about how we鈥檙e preparing for a more accessible event. If you anticipate requiring any accommodations in order to participate, you鈥檒l have a chance to indicate those on the RSVP form.聽
- Sharing digital and print versions of all of materials聽
- Setting aside a quiet room聽
- Ordering food with dietary restrictions in mind, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options (if you have particular dietary requirements, please let us know when you RSVP)聽
- Providing access to a variety of seating options聽
- Propping doors open throughout the space for easy access聽
- Providing information about the accessible route to our office, if it鈥檒l be your first time joining us聽
- Providing KN95 masks to anyone looking to avoid viruses聽
- If you find it helpful to have an idea of what you can expect at the event, you鈥檒l have a chance to mingle over (non)alcoholic beverages and hors d'oeuvres, check out the CTE鈥檚 hybrid meeting technology, review some information about the renovation process, peek into the new classrooms, and respond to prompts by posting sticky notes on a white board聽
